How can I purchase BBC Merchandise/DVDs?

It is not possible to buy DVDs, Blu-ray discs, toys, games or other BBC related products direct from the BBC in the UK.

We will continue to publish DVDs and Blu-ray discs which can still be bought from a wide range of retailers both online, on the high street as well as in supermarkets.

Where can I buy mugs, toys, games and other merchandise?

We work with external organisations to create great BBC merchandise of BBC favourites such as Doctor Who and Top Gear. You will be able to buy these products from many high street and online retailers as well as supermarkets.

DVDs for educational or training purposes?

It is sometimes possible to arrange for legitimate educational establishments to obtain a copy of a programme. For more information, please refer to the BBC Active website.

BBC iPlayer outside the UK

BBC iPlayer is a service for people in the UK. Due to rights agreements, you can only download or stream BBC iPlayer television programmes while you are inside the UK.

Can I get a copy of a BBC programme?

If you wish to purchase a copy of a programme or series you have watched on our channels, please check commercial availability via online or local retailers.

For a number of reasons related to rights and resources, the BBC is unable to loan out programme material to members of the public and it does not hold a stock of review copies to give away.

If you are a student/journalist/member of the public and wish to view an archive TV programme, please contact the BFI’s National Archive.

If you, or your company, organisation or property has been featured in a BBC programme, you may be able to purchase a copy. If you would like to request a copy please fill out the form on the BBC website.

Here at BBC Studios we love hearing what you think about our programmes, channels and services and receiving your enquiries. If you can’t find an answer here in our FAQs please send us details of your question or feedback and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please bear in mind that sometimes it is necessary to make investigations before we can answer your feedback fully. Therefore, it may take us a little longer to provide you with a comprehensive answer. However all feedback, requesting a reply, is responded to within 10 working days.
